GET OUT OF PAIN NOW
Break the Cycle of Chronic Pain
At any given time, up to 50 million Americans suffer from chronic pain. It affects one in five people worldwide and is the main cause of medical care requests. It is anticipated that treating diseases associated with pain will cost more than $125 billion annually.
Pain is a subjective experience. Even though it is impossible to evaluate objectively, it can have a strong negative impact on one's emotions, social interactions, and physical health. Additionally, it can be lonely and difficult for others to understand. If pain is not effectively controlled, it can occasionally ruin people's lives.
Rocco Castellano, sees many clients who are suffering from chronic pain. They may have been experiencing neck, back or hip pain for months, years or decades. Frequently, it consumes all of their thoughts.
Nociceptive Pain vs Neuropathic Pain
Although the tissues have often healed and the inflammation has subsided in many chronic pain instances, the brain has become hypersensitive to even minute pain signals. The distinction is between nociceptive pain, or pain brought on by tissue injury, and neuropathic pain, which affects the neurological system.
Neuropathic pain is caused by pain circuits that have aged and strengthened. Constant pain that has continued for more than three months is likely neuropathic pain.
When it's difficult to determine what causes symptoms to worsen, they may be triggered suddenly, they may be worse at night, and they may have an emotional impact
A person may be more likely to have neuropathic pain if they have the following conditions:
Neuropathic pain is associated with an area of the brain known as the default mode network. Most of the time our minds mull over problems around our daily lives. The default mode networks of chronic pain patients fixate on pain.
Therapeutic Exercise: Key Component of Recovery
There is no way to emphasize the importance of physical activity in treating back pain. Many persons who experience chronic neck or back pain quit doing their regular activities out of fear that they would make their condition worse. New recommendations from The American College of Physicians, however, warn against inactivity since it can cause the back and core muscles that support the spine to atrophy.
The secret to dismantling established chronic pain pathways is Therapeutic exercise. New brain cells and neural connections are formed during Therapeutic exercise.
PEMF to Help Restore Tissue Dysfunction
PEMF works by exposing the body to magnetic fields. These magnetic fields stimulate cellular repair and encourage the production of enzymes and proteins that are essential for cell function. PEMF has been shown to be effective in treating a wide variety of conditions, including low back pain.
A study published in the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation found that PEMF therapy was an effective treatment for chronic low back pain. The study participants who received PEMF therapy reported significant reductions in pain intensity and disability. Additionally, the participants who received PEMF therapy were less likely to experience side effects than those who received other forms of treatment, such as medication or surgery.

PEMF ENHANCES YOUR BODY'S NATURAL RECOVERY PROCESS
PULSE PEMF (Pulse Electro-Magnetic Fields)
PEMF generates energy at the cellular level without medically invasive procedures. Pulse’s line of exclusive accessories is built with anatomy in mind to effectively apply a pulsing electromagnetic field to the body without introducing any apparatus beneath the skin. Anatomically, the amplification of natural energy encourages the body to function more effectively for overall wellness.
PEMF capitalizes on the body’s intelligence and incredible self-healing abilities, encouraging the cells with natural energy to better perform their many functions. Whole-body PEMF provides a better long-term wellness solution and often yields unexpected benefits!
Studies have shown, and users often report, that PEMF triggers a decrease in perceived muscle soreness. This, along with its effect on user energy levels, makes PEMF the perfect complement to training programs for high-performing professional athletes and weekend warriors alike.
Many people experience PEMF as a soothing, restorative modality. In fact, studies have shown that PEMF has the ability to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system (the body’s “rest and digest” response) at a pattern identical to that of manual acupuncture. Users have noticed a correlation between the Pulses Per Second setting allowed by the Pulse XL Pro and their state of rest or wakefulness, often attributed to mimicking certain brainwaves or the Schumann Resonances.
According to research, the body’s cells are similar to batteries. They hold a charge and can become depleted of energy over time by environmental stressors. PEMF applies energy directly to the cell, and the body’s holistic nature uses that cellular energy as a catalyst for full-body energy. The innovative Pulse XL Pro allows ultimate customization of Magnetic Field Strength and Pulses Per Second, giving users the power to tap into energy, relaxation, or both depending on their needs.
Imagine what your body could do with less muscle fatigue, enhanced recovery, more energy, and relaxing, rejuvenating PEMF sessions. PEMF allows athletes to harness the power of natural energy to supplement their training and performance goals. High-performing athletes have credited Pulse PEMF with their ability to minimize downtime as they maximize the passive recovery benefit of PEMF.

RESISTANCE STRETCHING
How Does Resistance Stretching Work?
Resistance Stretching works by isolating a muscle using concentric contractions to recruit specific muscle fibers to create a “burning” sensation within the muscle belly. Once the muscle is burning or what we call "activated", we use an isometric contraction to maintain the brain/body (neurological) connection to that muscle. We then transition by increasing the load on the muscle being trained and have you perform an eccentric contraction. while transitioning into an eccentric contraction. The eccentric contraction after the muscle has been activated is what causes the release of both muscle and fascial tension.
Immediate and Permanent increases in Flexibility
Resistance Stretching offers immediate, cumulative, and permanent increases in flexibility and mobility, takes the pain out of stretching, and protects you from injuring yourself from overstretching.
The Mobility Paradox
With Resistance Stretching your muscles are being contracted and lengthened at the same time so that they can be taken as far into their range of motion or "Range of Contraction" without damaging them. The basic concept behind Resistance Stretching is building strength while releasing tension, which creates stability in all affected joints.
Based on Proven Science
Our Resistance Stretching program is based on Dynamic Contraction Technique which was first introduced by renowned physical therapist Nic Bartolotta that focuses on working through the imbalances in your body due to muscle or fascial tension. This includes releasing tight muscles, fascia or scar tissue around what Rocco calls hotspots, so you can fully extend every joint without restriction or pain
The Power of Eccentric Contractions
The mechanism of our Resistance Stretching program resides in the unique function of the eccentric contraction. When muscle tissue is sufficiently activated through multiple concentric contractions around areas of tension in the musculature, then subjected to an eccentric load an external force being directly opposed by and internal force releases the muscle and fascial tension and restores function allowing the client to optimize function and performance.

RELEASE FASCIAL TENSION THROUGH TECHNIQUES LIKE VIBRATORY ANALGESIA
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
What is Fascia?
Your fascial tissue is a network of tissue much like a "wetsuit" that covers your entire body. It connects your muscles, joints, and bones. It also provides support for your organs, helping to keep them in place. Each muscle has multiple layers that work together. In between these layers is a liquid called hyaluronan that provides the ability to stretch and allows free range of movement. When this liquid becomes thick, sticky, or dries up, it usually creates a tight or locked sensation when you try to move. Myofascial or Fascial pain is different from other types of pain because it occurs in places where your fascial tissue meets or crosses. Fascial pain is often confused with muscle pain and is contributing factors to connective tissue injuries.
Why Perform Myofascial Release
During your preparatory phase of Train with Rocco programming, myfasical release is an important prerequisite to creating a pain-free start to your Optimized Strength training or Targeted Fat Loss program.
Vibratory Analgesia
Vibration therapy works by stimulating muscles and ligaments to increase blood circulation, ultimately helping reduce pain and inflammation, promote immune response, and improve joint strength and flexibility. Additionally, the vibrations serve as a sensory distraction, disrupting pain signals that are constantly traveling along the body’s nerve endings to the brain.
Muscles Work Better Through Myofascial Release
When fascia becomes sticky or binds together, keeping the muscles and joints from doing their job optimally, myofascial release techniques unbind your fascia and help keep the joints and musculature sliding smoothly and without dysfunction.
HALO (SALT) THERAPY
Invaluable for diseases of the respiratory system
Salt therapy is invaluable for diseases of the respiratory system. Some examples are asthma, bronchitis and pneumonia. When the air passageways become inflamed and constricted, salt can ease the uncomfortable effects. It reduces inflammation, reduces soreness, expels mucus and brings about relief.
Relieves Many Skin Issues
People affected by dermatitis, eczema, acne, and psoriasis can benefit by salt therapy. Breathing in salt air as well as contact of salt with the skin brings about vast improvements in intractable conditions.
Relax in the Salty Air
Salt has a relaxing effect not only on the tissues but also on the mind due to negative ions salt provides . Spend some time breathing in salt laden air and you feel better, at peace and relaxed.
Clear Up Lungs and Prevent Infection
Salt improves oxygenation and aids in recuperation of the lungs. In turn, this is especially beneficial for smokers. Additionally, also helps athletes improve their endurance. For those with cystic fibrosis, salt helps clear up the lungs and prevents infections.
Improve Digestion and Immune System
Salt can improve digestion and it can improve the immune system, helping people with digestive troubles and asthma or respiratory illnesses.
